I particularly appreciated the continental breakfast-simple but satisfying-perfect for fueling up before a day of writing or yoga. The highlight for me was the beautiful garden and the shared lounge, where we could unwind and savor the serene mountain views. And while the New Year's dinner was cozy, it leaned more towards the older crowd, making me think a little more diversity in offerings would be perfect for travelers of all ages. All in all, while Hotel Waldeck may not be a top-tier destination, it serves as a lovely pit stop for those wanting a balance between leisure and activity. Plus, it's great for families, with a spacious community pool that's spotless-ideal for kids to frolic while you catch up on some well-deserved relaxation. I'd definitely recommend this place for those looking to recharge amidst nature, reminding us to embrace the simple joys of travel!
